Ohio Statehouse

Here you will find a lovely blend of art and nature. The garden is based on the Georges Seurat’s painting ‘A Sunday On the Island Of La Grande Jatte. It this painting, people are seen lounging by the River Seine. The scene was recreated by artist James T. Mason in the early 1990s by using sculpted shrubs. It includes topiary people, boat,s cat, dogs, monkey, etc.
